Annual Information Update (AIU)

Introduction
Chelsea Building Society (Chelsea) published its Annual Report on 12 March 2007 and accordingly is submitting its AIU to the UK Listing Authority as required under Part 11 of the Prospectus (Directive 2003/71/EC) Regulations 2005 (S.I No 324 of 2005) and in accordance with paragraph 5.2 of the Prospectus Rules.
Chelsea is publishing the AIU via an RIS today and is making it available on the Treasury Section of Chelsea's website: www.thechelsea.co.uk
