Branch accessibility

Our branches are carefully designed to allow easy access to all of our customers. Our trained branch staff are sensitive to disability issues and will always be on hand to give you the assistance you need.

Deaf, hearing and speech impaired customers
We offer:

  • hearing aid induction loops at branch counters
  • we can arrange sign language interpreters on request (the timescale for this service depends on the availability of sign interpreters in your area).

Blind and partially sighted customers
We are proud that all of our branches can provide or arrange on request the following services and facilities:

  • literature magnifiers
  • credit card and cheque signature templates
  • literature and correspondence in alternative format such as Braille, large print and audio tape or CD.

We can provide these formats on an ad hoc basis or we can place an indicator on your account so that all future correspondence will be sent in your preferred format. For more information, please contact your local branch or call us on 0845 744 6622.

Customers with mobility difficulties
Our branches offer level access or assistance buttons at the entrances.
