Since your belongings are the things that make your home your own, Chelsea Home Select provides up to £50,000 of cover against loss or damage of your home contents.

Within the £50,000 you would have cover for your high risk items such as items of jewellery, pearls, gemstones, gold, silver and precious metals, computers, clocks and watches, pictures, works of art and stamp and/or coin collections.

The high risk limit depends on the number of bedrooms your home has:

1 bedroom - £10,500*
2 bedrooms - £11,000*
3 bedrooms - £11,500*
4 bedrooms - £12,000*
5 bedrooms - £12,500*

*Any one item - £2,500

The standard contents policy also covers a wide range of other potential risks including:

  • accidental damage cover to your television, stereo/CD system and other home entertainment equipment
  • the contents of your freezer (up to £300)
  • items left outside the home within the boundaries of your property (up to £250)
  • personal cash and credit cards (up to £300)**
  • replacing locks in your home if your keys are lost or stolen (up to £300)
  • legal expenses cover up to £50,000, along with free legal advice and support in the following areas:
    • personal injury
    • consumer protection
    • residential
    • employment
    • tax

** UK cover and up to 60 days worldwide each year

Take out Chelsea Home Select contents cover and you'll also receive Home Emergency Service at no extra cost - so advice is always on hand if an accident leaves you needing emergency repairs to your home.
